PPV Wrestler of<\/span> the Year<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Bit of<\/span> a tough decision here because there were a LOT of<\/span> different guys in the top 10 matches list. But after taking a closer look, I narrowed it down to 3 people, who were all involved in 3 of<\/span> the top matches that year<\/span>; Eddie, Benoit and JBL. Yep, JBL. Ahead of<\/span> UNDERTAKER. And then I realised the RR was also in the top 10, and well, that was a total BENOIT match so that bumps him up to 4 matches in the top 10 and takes the #1 spot overall \":)\". Eddie was definitely a very close second due to being in the top 2 matches of<\/span> the year<\/span>. While there aren’t that many high end<\/span> matches in 04, the ones we did get were terrific. Eddie\/JBL JD, RR match, Eddie\/Lesnar, Benoit\/Orton, Benoit\/Kane etc are just super matches. 04 really was their year<\/span> for big pushes and great matches, even if they both ended up being pushed aside once they lost their titles \":(\".<\/p>\n

PPV Match of<\/span> the Year<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Yeah, Eddie\/JBL from JD gets the nod. ****3\/4 for it. Just incredible. JBL steam rolls his way into the main event scene and does it better than anyone could have ever expected. Eddie’s performance is incredible. The chair shot and blade job will always be the most remembered parts of<\/span> the match, but there is so much awesomeness in this.<\/p>\n

PPV of<\/span> the Year<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Survivor Series is the CLEAR winner for PPV of<\/span> the year<\/span>, with 18 on the CAL SCALE, 6 points ahead of<\/span> anything else. 3 stellar matches and a mostly fun undercard made it extremely enjoyable to watch.<\/p>\n

Overall though, the year<\/span> is the lowest scoring on the CAL SCALE so far, and featured THE WORST PPV ever:<\/p>\n
